Lisa Galimlberti

Aline Galimlberti

The Galimberti story began in 1856, with its first range of household textiles made from pure linen. Since then, it has continued to weave its magic with some of the finest Italian fabrics, creating bed linen worthy of the most prestigious hotels and private houses.

Today, Lisa Galimberti is continuing the tradition of family know-how with a collection named after her, designed by her daughter Aline and produced with all the skill of true craftsmen, not far from Lake Como. The 400 thread-count pure Egyptian cotton is deliciously luxurious, whilst the quilt covers are all cut by hand and the modernity of the designs is matched only by the sheer elegance of the finishing details. The embroidery designed especially for each season is just one example, with matching deep blue tones or trimmings in stunning, vivid colors such as apricot, strawberry and kiwi fruit, sunburst designs reminiscent of the majestic white peacocks of Isola Bella, small repeating patterns of charcoal grey and golden brown daisies, the timeless white of a four-leaf clover in broderie anglaise, a kaleidoscope of delicately shimmering seashells, ribbed lozenge shapes picked out with satin stitch, a sprinkling of chocolate-colored chips or a checkerboard pattern of steel grey and chestnut.

Houndstooth checks alternate with bands of satin (in black, red, grey, aquamarine, chocolate and more), the epitome of elegant bed linen, like the braid on a tuxedo. The single matt or double satin flanges create a hopscotch of brilliant colors (fuchsia, mint and ultramarine) whilst the pintucking satisfies your every whim, in sand, sky blue, almond, chick yellow, rose, ivory, porcelain, and more.

The epitome of creativity and traditional know-how, the Lisa Galimberti collection is also offered made-to-measure.
